I knew for a while that my dad was likely thinking about trading in the Flex, what with all the cars we’ve been looking at, but last night, he confirmed that he no longer wished to keep it. We will get a new car within the next two months. Hopefully we will have a slightly more Jalop crossover (oxymoron?) in our garage. One that doesn’t have 140k miles on the clock.

Please don’t kill me, but it’s probably not going to be American.

Why? Can you do a mini review of the Flex? The Baruth bros love their Flex so I was considering as a replacement for a 234,000 mile Honda Element. Too big for dad now? Any issues?

Too big, too high mileage. I will do a review before it goes. It’s been a n excellent car, but has begun to go wrong b/c of the mileage.

It may very well be an X5 or Allroad A4. Or a couple other Germans, but those are among the top choices.
Actually, kill me if you want. It will be worth it for a V8 X5.

.....I'm gonna kill you for saying an X5 is worth your life!

I love my parents Flex. Although my dad and I really would love one with the EcoBoost
